Description:

Under the supervision of the show technical director, Faculty Technical Director and Faculty Scenic Designer these positions safely build, install and maintain the scenic elements for all Department of Theatre Arts and Dance Productions. Duties include framing and finish carpentry, rigging, welding, reading plans, safe tool use, occasional tool maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must have successfully completed THEA 1513 Stagecraft and ideally have completed THEA 3323 Stagecraft II, be able to lift up to 50 lbs and able to work at heights.
